Hey everyone. How are you all doing?
I have been away for a couple of weeks because of school and other things. College just started so I haven't had as much free time as before.
But I'm back now, and am ready to get back to work.
As you can tell, the current tournaments have not started, and the registration has been open for a month.
I feel like that can be blamed on myself, and also the fact that MW2 is dead. Not as many people are playing it now that Reach has been released. The demand for MW2 content has greatly declined. So that leads me to the status of the tournaments. I have talked it over with Content, and we have decided that we will not host any more MW2 tournaments with cash prizes. I know, I know, bummer to those who have signed up in the current tournaments.
But, there is an upside. That frees up some prizes for other games. I have talked to Zak about opening up a Halo Reach section of the site. I have began working on it, but as I said before, been very swamped with school, and just have not wanted or had the time to work on it as much as before.
Another thing that I want to let you all know about is Black Ops. I have taken elite's idea of hosting one of the first Black Ops tournaments upon release date. The prize will be large, as we hope to have a big turn out. More details will be released on that soon.
So I just wanted to let you all know that we are back, looking for more staff, and are also looking for more members to expand on.
